What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted the following personal data is permanently removed:

What Data Is Retained

Some data must be retained after account deletion because of legal, regulatory, or aviation-safety obligations. In these cases your personal identifiers are replaced with anonymised placeholders so the records can no longer be linked to you.

Data Type Retention Period Reason
Flight bookings & calendar events 7 years (anonymised) Aviation compliance regulations
Flight operations reports 7 years (anonymised) Aviation compliance regulations
Resource updates (flight hours, squawks) 7 years (anonymised) Aviation compliance regulations
Maintenance logs 7 years (anonymised) Aviation safety records
Invoices & financial records 7 years (anonymised) Tax and accounting law
Audit logs 7 years (anonymised after 90 days) Security and compliance
Encrypted database backups Up to 7 years (rotated automatically) Disaster recovery; deleted through routine backup rotation

For the full list of retention periods, see the Data Retention Policy.

Additional Retention Period

After your deletion request is submitted a 30-day grace period applies before permanent deletion occurs. During this period your account is deactivated but not yet removed, allowing you to cancel if the deletion was accidental. After 30 days, personal data in active systems is deleted or anonymised as described above. Anonymised records linked to aviation compliance or financial obligations are then retained for up to 7 years and deleted automatically when that period ends.
